A Life Steeped in Sound

I am a classically trained soprano with an Honors Bachelor Degree of Music (BMus) from Maynooth University. I started my musical journey through traditional music, having taught traditional music from 2008 to 2011 in Ceoltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

I began voice training with Patricia Finnegan-Newell at fourteen, before training with renowned soprano, Sylvia O’ Brien. In 2013, I performed for President Michael D Higgins at the National Ploughing Championships. I have performed in venues around the country and at various competitions both classical and traditional from 2010 to 2016. I continue to give private tuition in voice (various genres) guitar, fiddle, tin whistle and recorder.

I have an extensive repertoire which can be easily and gladly extended. I use backing tracks and live instruments such as the guitar, fiddle, alto recorder, flute, tin whistle. Hence incorporating traditional music as well as other genres. CDs of select tracks can be purchased at any time as a sample.
